Ridaex, officially known as RGK Silicon Sciences Pvt Ltd, has been a pioneering force in LED TV manufacturing since 2016. Initially, the company focused on producing single-board basic smart TVs and non-smart TVs, importing nearly 90% of components from Taiwan. However, over time, Ridaex identified significant incompatibilities between global market products and Indian market requirements. To address these challenges, the company established its own 2-stage manufacturing facilities in Rajkot, Gujarat, and Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, to produce smart LED TVs.

Ridaex’s Localization Efforts

Currently, 74% of Ridaex TV components (by mass) are made in India. Initially, the company focused on producing single-board basic smart TVs and non-smart TVs, importing nearly 90% of components from Taiwan for their FHD, UHD & 4K models. Pre-Dispatch Tests for ensuring the reliability of all 32 inch smart TVs. By combining local manufacturing capabilities with premium imported components, Ridaex ensures high-quality, durable, and cost-effective televisions tailored to Indian consumers.

Ridaex is also the OEM manufacturers for many Tire 3 brands such as Jagoo TV, SK POS  for the Indian local market and commercial market. The OEM segment included 32 Inch To 86 Inch Android led TVs, 32 Inch Smart LED TV  to 86 Inch Smart LED TV, 24 Inch To 40 Inch Full HD LED TV.

Ridaex’s Manufacturing Process

Ensures functionality before proceeding to further testing of the smart LED TV units. The remaining 36%, including LED display panels and core semiconductor components, are imported from Southeast Asia to support the production of 40 inch smart LED televisions.

1. Rajkot Facility (Primary Manufacturing): Ridaex has streamlined its production through a two-facility approach to enhance the manufacturing of Full HD and 4K UHD smart TVs.

   • PCB Manufacturing: The core electronic circuits are printed and assembled.

   • Cabinet Manufacturing: Using plastic injection molding, Ridaex creates durable enclosures for its TVs.

   • Wiring Kit Assembly for LED televisions.: Essential internal wiring components are manufactured and assembled.

   • RPL Testing to guarantee the quality of all models starting from 24 inch and 86 inch models.: This phase includes rigorous reliability and performance tests to ensure durability.

2. Nagarbhavi, Bangalore Facility (Final Assembly & Quality Control):

   • SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) Assembly: components from Rajkot and imported parts are assembled.

   • Panel Pallet Importing & Mounting for the latest FHD, 4K, UHD Smart TVs.: LED display panels from leading manufacturers like LG and BOE are mounted.

   • Initial Startup Testing: Ensures functionality before proceeding to further testing.

   • Infrared, Heat & BERT Testing: TVs undergo stress testing to validate performance under different environmental conditions.

   • The LED Smart TV manufacturing process involves multiple stages, ensuring quality, durability, and compatibility with Indian conditions for all sizes: Each unit is rigorously tested before being shipped to consumers.
