RIDAEX 3-YEAR GUARANTEE OR FULL REFUND POLICY AGREEMENT
This Agreement, effective from the 9th day of June 2025 until Effective Period Of 3 Years, is issued by RGK Silicon Sciences Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 12/1-A , 17th Cross, 29, Main Road, 6th Phase, J. P. Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560078, hereinafter referred to as “Ridaex,” which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context, include its successors and assigns.
This Guarantee Policy is provided in favor of the original purchaser (“Customer”) who purchases specific Ridaex television models, identified by model and serial numbers, directly from Ridaex under the Direct to Consumer (D2C) sales model.
1. OBJECTIVE OF THE POLICY
This policy aims to:
- Build consumer trust in Ridaex television products by offering a superior quality assurance.
- Extend a 3-Year Guarantee for manufacturing defects or provide a full refund if the defect cannot be resolved satisfactorily.
- Align with Indian legal statutes such as the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Sale of Goods Act, 1930, and other applicable regulations.
2. APPLICABILITY AND SCOPE
2.1. Applicable Sales Segment
This policy is strictly applicable only to the Direct To Consumer (D2C) segment. It excludes all Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions including but not limited to bulk orders by retailers, resellers, institutions, or hospitality sectors.
2.2. Purchase Limitations
This guarantee is limited to a maximum of two (2) Ridaex televisions per individual customer during the Effective Period.
3. GUARANTEE TERMS
3.1. Coverage
The 3-Year Guarantee covers manufacturing defects related to:
- Hardware (including display, mainboard, power board)
- Internal circuitry and ports
- Operating system (OS) firmware
3.2. Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover damages caused due to:
- Physical damage: cracks, screen breaks, or impact damage
- Liquid damage: spills, exposure to moisture or water
- Electrical surges: lightning strikes, high voltage usage
- Display issues such as fogging, horizontal lines, unless proven as manufacturing fault
- Natural calamities: floods, earthquakes, fire, etc.
- Unauthorized modifications/repairs
- Tampering with serial numbers, warranty seals, internal firmwar
3.3. Void Conditions
The guarantee shall stand void under the following circumstances:
- The serial number or warranty seal is tampered or removed
- Installation or repair by an unauthorized technician
- Improper or negligent usage
4. REMOTE CONTROL WARRANTY (6 MONTHS)
Ridaex offers a 6-month warranty on the remote control unit for manufacturing defects only.
4.1. Exclusions
The warranty does not apply to:
- Breakage or cracks
- Button damage due to mishandling
- Moisture or battery leakage
- Physical wear and tear
Replacement shall be made only if the issue is validated as a manufacturing defect.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
To be eligible under this policy, customers are required to:
- Provide original invoice as proof of purchase. Warranty coverage is contingent upon presentation of a valid, dated, and itemized original sales receipt or invoice
- Ensure product is returned in original packaging (carton box and thermocol inserts) for refunds. Refunds or replacements will only be issued upon return of the complete original product in its original packaging (or manufacturer-approved packaging), subject to verification by the manufacturer.
- Submit all original accessories (remote, power cable, wall mount, etc.)
5.1. Refund Deductions
In case of missing or damaged accessories, the company reserves the right to deduct the value of such items from the refund on a pro-rata basis.
6. REFUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
6.1. Eligibility
Refund will be initiated only when:
- A manufacturing defect is certified by Ridaex-authorized technicians. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product (either physically or via remote diagnostics where feasible) to verify the reported defect before authorizing repair, replacement, or refund.
- The product cannot be repaired or replaced within the stipulated resolution period
6.2. Mode of Refund
Refund shall be processed:
- Through the original payment method, or
- To an alternate account of the customer (subject to email verification and identity confirmation)
6.3. Refund Timeline
Refunds shall be processed within 7 business days from the approval of the claim.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Ridaex shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or subscription loss
- Improper installation, third-party apps malfunction, or environmental issues
- Damages due to customer negligence or misuse
- Commercial use of products purchased under this policy
- Installation performed by untrained or unapproved personnel
The maximum liability under this policy is strictly limited to the invoice value of the purchased unit.
8. WARRANTY VALIDITY & TRANSFERABILITY
- The 3-Year Guarantee is non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser.
- Any resale, rental, or commercial leasing of the TV shall render this policy null and void.
- This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.
9. CLAIM PROCEDURE
Step 1: Initiation
Customer must initiate a service request by contacting Ridaex customer support and provide:
- Purchase details (invoice, model/serial number)
- Description of issue with photos/videos
Warranty claims must be initiated through the manufacturer's official channels (website, authorized service center, dedicated phone line) and require completion of all requested forms and information accurately.
Step 2: Assessment
Ridaex will evaluate the request through:
- Online diagnostics, or
- Physical inspection by an authorized technician at the customer’s premises
Step 3: Resolution
Based on the assessment and if found that the product is defective as per the applicable terms, Ridaex will offer full refund or the customer has the choice to ask for replacement or repair.
The manufacturer determines, at its sole discretion, whether a defective product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
10. CONSUMER PROTECTION COMPLIANCE
This policy is in compliance with the following laws:
10.1. Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Ridaex ensures:
- Transparency in advertising and product specs
- Redressal in case of defective product deliveries
Availability of remedies for valid complaints
10.2. Sale of Goods Act, 1930
Ridaex guarantees that products sold:
- Are fit for the purpose intended
- Conform to quality and description mentioned
- Include an implied warranty of merchantability
10.3. Legal Metrology Act, 2009
Ridaex shall maintain accurate labeling regarding:
- Screen size
- Model number
- Power rating and other specifications
10.4. Electronics & IT Goods Order, 2021
All Ridaex TVs are BIS-certified in accordance with Indian safety and manufacturing standards.
The manufacturer reserves the right to investigate any warranty claim suspected of being fraudulent. Submission of fraudulent claims may result in denial of the claim, voiding of the warranty, and may be subject to legal action.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
11.1. Arbitration Clause
Any dispute arising from this policy shall be resolved through arbitration, conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

- The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding
11.2. Jurisdiction
The Agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to arbitration, courts in Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
As a mandatory step prior to delivery, the customer must:
- Digitally sign an acknowledgment form, authenticated via Aadhaar e-sign
- Acknowledge reading and understanding of this policy
- Confirm agreement with refund, repair, and replacement conditions
- Agree that all decisions made by Ridaex technical team regarding guarantee claims shall be final and binding
13. FORCE MAJEURE
Ridaex shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under this policy due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God
- Strikes, lockouts
- Government restrictions or lockdowns
- Cyber-attacks or IT infrastructure failures
14. MISCELLANEOUS
14.1. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force.Warranty claims may be denied if the product shows evidence of tampering, misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications. Warranty is void if factory-applied seals or tamper-evident labels are broken, damaged, or removed, except by authorized service personnel.
The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse service or cancel warranties for customers found to be abusing the warranty or refund policy.
14.2. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire understanding between the Customer and Ridaex and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements.
14.3. Modifications
Ridaex reserves the right to modify this policy for future purchases. However, this version will remain binding for purchases made within the Effective Period.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the customer hereby agrees to the above terms and consents as well as the brand terms and conditions to be bound under this Agreement upon completion of the Aadhaar-based digital acknowledgment.
